Immerse yourself in the culture and foods of Puerto Rico in honor of the Teen York County Reads book, With the Fire on High, by Elizabeth Acevedo. Participants will meet at The Mercantile (153 East White Street, Rock Hill) and enjoy a three-course meal highlighting the flavors and meaning behind Puerto Rican dishes. Music, culture, and food combine to create a special evening for teens ages 14-18.
A small token to remember the evening will be given to each participant. This program is part of York County Reads and is sponsored and hosted by The Mercantile and friends of the community.

Ages 14-18. Register online or call (803) 981-5870, starting March 16. Limit 50. Please notify library staff of any food allergies. A signed parental permission/emergency contact form is required.
