This is a workshop for writers of any skill level, and housed or unhoused!!  Facilitated by Matt Shaw of Speak Up Magazine, which is a publication written by people facing homelessness.  Mr. Shaw will lead discussion and offer writing prompts to help get the creative thoughts flowing.  A notebook and pen will be provided.  Join us for some free flowing conversation in a judgement-free zone.  No registration required.  Limit 20 people.

Reading aloud helps young students expand vocabulary and improve comprehension.  A friendly face, particularly one accompanied by a wagging tail, can help ease reading jitters and build self-confidence in readers who want extra practice. School-age children are invited to practice reading in short sessions in a circle-style setting with a literacy therapy dog. Registration is required.
