To celebrate Women's History Month, the Main
Library (Rock Hill) is hosting a question and answer session with Rock Hill's
first woman mayor Betty Jo Rhea. Elected as mayor in 1986, she served for
12 years in the position. She will address how she thinks Rock Hill and
its attitude toward women in public office has changed since then, as well as
tell some stories from her time in office. Questions are welcome. Please
join us for this look at the history of our community and the accomplishments
of this amazing woman. Registration is requested, but not required.
